Is makeup like concealer or foundation (especially the liquid kind) bad for your skin? I am hesitant to use it. Any opinions and advice are appreciated. :)Is makeup like concealer..?
concealer has more coverage its made to cover acne, dark circles, etc. and it can be applied to the whole face but its not made to be and its not bad for you skin if it says non comendogenic (wont clog pores) so get that kind but some cause oilyness or dryness even if they are made for oily skin or whatever but look for a shine resistant formula if that happens and usually the ones made for dry skin doesnt dry out your skin but if yo have acne i would get a concealer with an acne fighting medication in it. but if you get one of those you will have to get a concealer for under eye circle if you have themIs makeup like concealer..?
Some are extra oily, but they say that they are for dry skin..and some can dry your skin out, but they tell you in the bottle that they are for oily skin.
Since you are so hesitant, they make mineral foundation that is acually kinda good for your skin - but the regular kind doesn't really hurt your skin as long as you wash it off EVERY NIGHT!!
Heavy applications isn't very good because certain foundations do not allow your skin to breathe. I would get some mineral wear. I know that CVS has a good selections. It can get pricey so beware.
its a tossup some say powder can clog poors and then others say liquid
but for my foundation i used minerals (a powder)
it just works for my skin

concealer shouldnt be used for your whole face but a little bit for acne or dark cicles is OK....foundation causes acne
