Well... I am going to keep this simple, because this stuff can probably be a little overwhelming if you don't know much about makeup.

Concealer is usually in stick form and you place it on imperfections. You can put it on pimples, scars, under-eye circles, etc. I like to use my finger to blend. You dab a bit on and then gently smudge outwards.

You put foundation on after concealer. It pretty much sets your base, gives you an overall smooth look and blends everything. I personally like mineral powders more. I have acne, and I have less issues with breakouts when I use a mineral powder than a liquid foundation. Another cool thing you can look into is liquid to powder foundations.

I would use a pretty blush or bronzer on your cheeks, chin, and forehead to make a more sun kissed look. Just concealer and powder can make you kind of... washed out looking.

The price varies depending on what brands you buy. It all depends on your skin type. You can get things along the line of cover girl for pretty cheap. Good luck and have fun with makeup! The more you play the better you get!Makeup help...concealer?
Concealer is for spot coverage (pimples, dark under-eye circles, etc.) and foundation is for all-over face coverage to smooth out your complexion. You can use both at the same time. It's best to use concealer first to cover imperfections then follow with your foundation all over.

Prices vary by brand and type. There are MANY different types of foundation. The best is mineral foundations like Bare Minerals. But that might not be for you if your on a budget because it could run you about $25-$30.
foundation is liquidy make up for your face to cover any imperfections and concealer is mainly used for under your eyes to cover dark spots or blemishes. You should use both. first you put the concealer in any blemishes or imperfections and under your eyes and gently pat it with your index finger which is the most light-touching. the cost all depends on the brand you buy. avon is a good brand for a really good price. foundation will normally cost you around $10.00 and concealer like $5.00 - check it out at: http://www.youravon.com/mdelgado - there's always good deals
Concealer is something that you use to cover up certain spots, like pimples, redness etc.

Foundation is something that colors the skin to make it look more even. Concealer is often sold in pen-form so that you can dab it onto spots where you need extra coverage, whereas foundation may be sold in more volume and you apply it all over the face whether it's liquid or powder etc.

I would recommend that you keep both in your bag.. but you don't necessarily need it unless your foundation comes off during the day.. and good ones shouldn't.
