Conceler helps hide imperfections and highlighter is used to highlight or add color. The first comes in many forms and colors white, green, purple, beige and probably others. You use what you need to hide imperfections. I use the white lightly around my eyes to cover redder skin and then put some just under my eyebrows. I buy mine in a stick much like lipstick. I'm sure there are lots of highlighters and, if I use one, I use a powdered one to had color. You have to try different ones to see what works for you. I don't buy really expensive makeup because I don't see the difference in many things and I have found better colors %26amp; product for me in very cheap pencils. You can go to different stores and have facials done. But they expect you to buy like crazy when they do that whether you like the stuff or not. My advice would be to go and start with some cheaper stuff and try out different colors until you are close to what you want and then go out and look for the perfect color in a better brand or not. No concealer just masks the spots and blemishes even dark circles.Its something to reduce your marks on face for a smooth blemish free face


Make up highlighters are one type of concealers.They cover critical areas such as shadows and lines resulting in a natural glow. Apply directly over blusher, mix with blusher, or use just above blusher and around the eyes. Also use under the eyebrows and a touch down the nose. This will significantly brighten the face. After the finish make-up use to cover circles under the eyes, sides of nose, corners of lips and hallows of the chin etc. Blend lightly with your fingertips and brush with powder. The Highlighter can also be applied first, let dry and then apply your normal make-up. For full eyes, use the Highlighter as an eye shadow by applying to the upper end of the eyelid.


Which is the best brand depends upon the type of your skin.I would prefer maybelline.Once i was a revlon fan but it irritates my skin to make it look sand like.But maybelline was perfect to me.It doesnt irritate me or is allergic.But this depends on the person you are and your skintype.Dont go for cheap products.Buy branded and trusted products.

they r not same. Highlighter highlighter, e.g cheekbone, eyebrown bone, etc. it is more like shinning and light color, but not as much pigmentation as concealer. U can buy at any cosmetic store.

no they are not the same things a concealer hides imperfections and a highlighter can add shimmer or contour to your face i would try benefit too faced or clinique or mac all of these except for mac is avalible at sephora mac is avalible in department stores clinique is also at department stores
