How do you apply concealer makeup foundations?

ok so how do you apply concealer? whats it for? do you put it under the eye's??? hmm and whats the best way to apply foundation? every time i ';try'; to it looks thick it dosent smear right (rub in) yes i know the secret is to ';blind'; ';blind'; ';blind'; but how??? i'm 24 and i stil don't know how to do it all lol .How do you apply concealer makeup foundations?

Before you purchase any product go and have the employees at the dept store apply for you and wear it outside in natural light.

Well I can tell you using makeup takes practice. Concealer is used to camouflage circles under the eye, as well as discolorations on the skin.


The first thing to invest in is brushes; good brushes. I now use a brush for everything; concealer, eyeshadow, brows, blush, and pressed powder. Your concealer will be much easier to blend if you use the brush; don't use your fingers for makeup! If I wear liquid foundation I put it on with a brush, that looks just like a paint brush. At Sephora, they carry their own line of brushes that is cheaper than those at other counters.


The best concealer that I have ever used is by MAC and they have a large variety of shades so matching should not be a problem.


By the way, 24 is still young. I did not get my makeup perfected until I was in my early thirties!
put the concealer under the foundation. try the liquid cover girl foundation, i wouldn't se anything else. concealer is for bags under the eyes or to hide pimples.
Concealer is a bit tricky...... say you were born with a birthmark on you face or a bruse from a terriable accident then concealer , covers up the blimish or marks. Some people wear concealer for reasons unknown because they like make-up or are covering up complection acne. To much make-up causes acne too...... try the pressed powder. The true trick is to have make up on and not be that noticed because of it. Your trying to enhance what you already have. Your probably beautiful without it.
concealer is for the dark circles under your eyes, just dab some on there and spread to cover. As for foundation i recomend you not to apply a lot a time cuz it just looks bulky and blotchy and what not. Use a spongy thin and just spread it.. usually from the center outward.
First of all make sure you wash your face. It will help get off excess oil that can effect make up application. Second, use moisturizer - a slightly tinted SPF moisturizer is a good choice, but theres many. You should only use about a lima bean (bigger than a pea) size of moisturizer on your face before applying make up. Let the lotion set. I find it easiest to blend concealer with my finger tip. Tap around the concealed spot and lightly on top. Use a little at a time to help avoid smears and a always use a loose powder with a powder brush to set your make up.





If you want a good recommendation... Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals is a wonderful make up brand that conceals easily without all the fuss. It smooths out the skin tone, covers greatly, and looks beautiful. Keep it in mind if you're looking for a good brand.


I use them now, which is much easier than applying creamy concealer and trying to blend it...been there done that. Check em out.
concealer is there to correct spot on your face lets say you have small dark scars or dark spots under the eyes the concealer is a good thing because when you apply it under the eyes automaticly your eyes look more open and the skin looks even.





ok first of all dont get a greasy concealer ask for one that also hydrates for example ';all about eyes'; from clinique ok its a little expansive but trust me you gonna have it for a whole year. IMPORTANT test it yourself first on your skin what tone fits you the best dont let someone tell you to get this or that





the skin under the eye area is reallyy thin so we dont wanna rub it too much first apply a little amount on the back of your hand and use it from there to apply under the eyes not only smear it also pad it in that it settles down also important for a better look





apply it on the eye lid also that the whole thing looks even

Concealer is used to cover dark undereye circles or blemishes on your face. To apply foundation first make sure its the right color for your skin tone. You can test colors by putting it on your jaw line or on the inside of your wrist and whatever color seems to ';fade'; into your skin or match the best is the color you use. Also if you dampen your sponge that you are using to apply your foundation it blends better and doesn't go on so thick.
